The 3rd Global Conference on Child Labour is an opportunity for reflection and joint dialogue between government, workers, employers, civil society and international organizations on the progress made in the process towards the elimination of child labour, especially its worst forms, as well as a space for presenting proposals of mechanisms to accelerate the elimination of this phenomenon.

We hope this document, which is not legally binding, may support the dialogues we are now initiating on the increasingly radical fight against this problem in our countries. It aims to promote a broad and democratic debate on the efforts undertaken by the international community since 2010 to eliminate the worst forms of child labour.

We encourage all the participants to send contributions to this document that will shape the discussions during the Conference and will highlight the challenges that remain to be faced by countries all around the world to meet the 2016 eradication targets.
